This section is divided in five gadgets:
- The first gadget is used to enable or disable the installer support. When disabled,
X-Arc won't try to recognise installer scripts, and won't let the user install them.
Installer command is used to set the command that will be used to run installer scripts.
By default it is "c:installer", but you'd need to change it, in case your installer is
in another directory or in case you'd like to use an installer-compatible program, such as
SavageInstaller.
The next string gadget is used to select where X-Arc will create its temporary directories
to unpack the files before installation.
If the Install on open checkmark is selected, as soon as an archive is opened, X-Arc
will run the installer script of the archive, if present.
When X-Arc install an archive, it firstly extracts all the contents of the archive in a directory
with the name of the archive, created in the directory selected in the previous string gadget. After installation,
this temporary subdirectory is usually deleted, but it can be leaved here if needed by the user. To force X-Arc
not to delete that subdirectory, select this checkmark.
